" Het Witte Veen" is from origin an old farm near the village of Witteveen.
It is located near the woods and nature here is beautiful. Westerbork and museumvillage Orvelte are within 5 kilometres. Drenthe is famous for its cyclingtours. You can hire bicycles through us and we can also advise you on cyclingroutes.
Apart from the bar area this hotel is completely non smoking.

Very friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere throughout the public areas. We really liked the bar area, which had lots of games to play. The dining room was also a very pleasant place to sit and eat. Prices charged for food and drink were reasonable. Breakfast was plentiful. Food was always good. We stayed in three different hotels during our holiday and liked this one the most.

Just that it needs some redecoration, new painting etc...

It was peaceful, relaxing, the staff was super, location was just what we wanted, Food was very good. The beds were very comfortable. Everyone was very helpful. Other guests were happy and relaxed
