Our characteristic restaurant reflects the hotel’s surroundings and has an atmosphere of bygone days. The excellent menu offers a great variety of delicious dishes with something to suit every palate

Breakfast between 07.30 and 10.00 hours (on Sunday from 08.00 and 10.30 hours)
Lunch between 12.00 and 15.00 hours
Start Dinner from 18.00 and 20.45 hours (on Sunday the kitchen is opened between 12.00 and 20.45 hours.)

Every one of our rooms has a fabulous, romantic view of the dunes that will give you a feeling of freedom. The rooms all have comfortable beds, bath or shower, toilet, radio, color TV and telephone.

Area information

Hotel-Restaurant Duinoord is beautifully situated in the dunes of Wassenaar just a stone’s throw away from the popular beach area the ‘Wassenaarse Slag’, and only 3 km from the center of the wealthy, green suburb of Wassenaar.
You can explore the surrounding area of the hotel to your heart’s content on foot or by bike: the beach, the dunes, the untouched natural beauty – it’s all here for you. Route maps of the “Hollands Duin” dune area are available and you can hire a bike at the hotel to explore the vicinity.
The center of The Hague, and the towns of Delft and Leiden with numerous museums, historic buildings, shops and places of interest and more, are all within a distance of 10 km.
You may like to explore the Bollenstreek (bulb-growing area) and visit the flower towns of Sassenheim and Lisse. And of course, a visit to the Keukenhof Gardens is a must!
The children will love Duinrell amusement park located not far from the hotel. This amusement park has a large indoor swimming pool with water slides. It’s fun, fun, and more fun at Duinrell!

Location. Restaurant (evening).

Breakfast - not the quality and quantity, but the way of presenting it. The bed - needs replacement (and a better quality). I can live with with the hotel being a bit old and in need of a general restoration, but the quality of the bed could be my reason for not coming back - unfortunately, because I like the place.

The location nearby hte sea and the dunes. It is in a very scenic location.
