In the heart of the theme-park district, just outside the city of Waalwijk, is a friendly 3-star hotel – the perfect home base for family outings.

The tidy rooms are modestly furnished and are equipped with extra long beds, modern facilities and private bathrooms. The hotel’s steakhouse,is a popular place for a relaxing evening and a great meal.

Forming a triangle with Tilburg and Den Bosch, this hotel is advantageously located between major cities and beautiful nature areas. A variety of pleasant hiking and biking routes can be enjoyed in the direct vicinity.

Area information

In the surroundings of Hotel Friends there is something for everyone.
The popular amusement parks Efteling and the Land van Ooit are just a 5 and 7 minute drive away respectively.The safari park Beekse Bergen is 20 minutes away by car.
The cities Den Bosch and Tilburg are also just a short distance away.
Nature reserves such as De Drunense Duinen and De Bieschbos are in the neighbourhood. Our hotel is a fine starting point for bike and hiking routes.

Breakfast not good, Staff reluctant to help with problem with the drains in one of the rooms.

The staff is nice and very friendly. They are new in the business but they seem to really like what they are doing and they will improve. :)

The breakfast is a bit limited.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Good facilities, including games area with table-tennis, table football and pool table. Great location for town centre and Efteling fairytale park.

Die Einrichtung und das Ambiente.

Es wurde förmlich verboten, das Hotel morgens vor 08:30 Uhr zu verlassen. Man "durfte" nicht einmal seine Sachen ins Auto bringen. Zudem wurde so etwas vorher niemals erwähnt, ebenso wie andere Abläufe bzgl. Frühstück, Bezahlung etc. Alles in allem: schlechte Kommunikation, leider.
