Franchetti Gallery at the Ca dOro   (Venezia)
Nella sala sono esposti una serie di piccoli dipinti del Quattrocento, provenienti in larga parte dalla collezione Franchetti, che seguono in senso cronologico lo sviluppo della pittura veneziana di questo secolo, dalla Madonna col Bambino di Giambono, ancora intrisa di elementi tardogotici, a quelle di Lazzaro Bastiani o Bartolomeo Vivarini, opere ormai di pieno Rinascimento. Si tratta di tele e tavole di piccolo formato, destinate alla devozione privata, nelle quali in genere prevale la raffigurazione della Madonna col Bambino.
