Hotel Mitland is situated on the outskirts of Utrecht, a 5-minute drive from the city centre, in a splendid park with a wonderful view of the old De Bilt fortress.

Hotel Mitland has luxuriously furnished rooms and is the only hotel in Utrecht that offers a swimming pool. Entry is free for hotel guests, who can also enjoy complimentary use of the extended sauna facilities.

The hotel has several restaurants for a simple meal or celebration dinner. Additionally, Mitland Bowling is now open: a brand new centre offering 9 lanes with the Music Thrill Vision System to give bowling a whole new dimension.

Hotel information

As a guest of Hotel Mitland Utrecht, you have free access to the swimming pool, the sauna and the Turkish baths. The swimming pool is equipped with an optimal climate control system. Swimming pool and sauna have many facilities such as foot baths, showers and a (cold water) immersion bath. For a small fee, you may also make use of the bubble baths and the two separate sunbeds. The very best feature, however, is the marvellous view over the waters of Utrecht Fort De Bilt.

Food & beverage

In our characteristic restaurant on the waterfront of Fort de Bilt, you can enjoy a rich (à la carte) dinner and in the Waterleliezaal (Water Lily Room), you can enjoy stone grilling.

For groups we offer luxe attractive menu's and buffets

If you would like to just have a bite to eat or eat in a more informal atmosphere, you can go to the trendy brasserie which, thanks to its wireless internet connection, is ideal for business meetings.

Room information

All rooms have private bathrooms with shower and bath separately.

We can especially recommend rooms with a wonderful view of the old "De Bilt" fortress and the surrounding water.

The standard rooms are comfortably furnished and offer basic equipped.
Most rooms have a balcony.
The luxurious rooms are more spacious and offer a trouser press and a bigger LCD screen.

Very close to where I needed to be. Nice facilities and proper breakfast set-up and offerings.

In general everything was fine, though there is some dissonance between the new surroundings and the outdated rooms (though comfortable). As it was hot, I did miss airconditioning.

The hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast was copious. The room where
breakfast is served is very beautiful with a marvellous view on the park
and the water.

The curtains could not close completely because one hook was broken. The
room of the cleaning service was next to our room and they woke me up at
7am. You have to pay to park your car in spite of the fact that the
hotel is not situated in the city center.

The breakfast buffet is excellent. The rooms (after moving) are good. The setting is great.

We booked for 3 nights. the first night we were assigned a totally unacceptable room - adjacent to parking lot entrance / fold down bed / soiled carpet. Upon complaint we were moved to a very acceptable room. Others in our party who had booked through the internet experienced the same. So beware of booking through the internet and complain if you are not satisfied.

Good location with regard to the centre and nice to have a sauna/steam room

We booked a double luxurious room which we did not get in the end and instead of a double bed, we walked in to find two single beds. The hotel was not full but apparently no rooms were available for the one night we stayed. It is a good hotel overall but we did not get our money's worth.

The staff were fantastic and most of them peformed their services with
attention to detail. Great plave for holiday. The sport facilities were
also hand for those who prefer to stay within the hotel you will never
get bored as their is plenty to do

It was reasonably conveniently located for my visit to relatives. The Mitland is an excellent hotel with all business and leisure facilities on site. In addition, a variety of further leisure facilities are adjacent. Although not used this time the business meeting facilities are extensive at this very pleasant location.

On this occasion the housekeeping staff were too keen and laundered the towels each day. We always embrace the environmental benefit of re-using towels. On the last day we did not have cups in the room for our coffee so had to hurry down for breakfast!!

The location was excellent, not in the city center, but 5 minutes by bus.Very nice area although if they could reduce somehow the noise from the road it would be much better.

My room was on top of the laundry, it was noisy in the morning.That together with the noise coming from the road was not very confortable.
