What a wonderful stay! I would recommend this hotel. What a wonderful value. My husband and I stayed in the suite and it was like being at home away from home. The inn is under 6th generation ownership and you can tell the love and care that go into running the guesthouse. |

The proprietors were friendly, welcoming and helpful. They both speak excellent English and made every effort to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. The food was excellent with a wide variety of choice. The bed was exceptionally comfortable The double glazing effectively cancelled out the noise from the nearby church bells. |

The host is very friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to make it comfortable for your stay. We stay there with 2 young children and it was comfortable enough. Also close enough to Triberg, as it is about a 15-20 mins drive. |

For the price it was a good hotel. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The town the hotel is located in has absolutely nothing to do for anyone. The heat did not work the first night, but was turned on the second night to the point of being unbearable. the selection of food for the breakfast buffett was very limited. The prices for dinner were pretty high for what little you get. |

The rooms were comfortable, and we had no problems with bringing our dog with us. I didn't like that the hotel was closed during the times when most hotels begin checking in (usually about 1500). They were closed between 1400 and 1700, and we arrived at 1530, so we had to go find a place to stay warm and dry (on a Saturday afternoon that is not easy to do) |

The Owners went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Dinner was exceptional. and breakfast was very good with wide selection. Overall, a very nice gasthaus. |
