Driving through the gate, you suddenly come upon a beautiful old castle complete with driveway, moat, romantic English garden and former tithe barn. It seems as if time stood still. Once inside you will see how effortlessly the ambience of yester year can be harmonised with luxurious modern comforts: antique open fire place, a magnificent staircase and the original ceilings, provide the wonderfully restored and historical setting for a modern 4* hotel: The Bilderberg Château Holtmühle.

This beautiful castle is located in the north of Limburg. Bilderberg Château Holtmühle has 66 luxurious rooms and suites, extensive relax facilities and the excellent restaurant "Die Alde Heerlickheijt". The divers banquet rooms give both festivities and business meetings a "historical" ambiance.

Château Holtmühle is true to tradition when it comes to festivities. The various banquet rooms offer the 'historical' ambiance you want for a wedding, anniversary or reception.

Wonderful setting and a really nice hotel. Staff friendly and efficient.

While meal in hotel restaurant was very nice it was also very expensive for what it was.

lovely terrace, beautiful surroundings, indoor pool and gracious buildings

No prior information about the dinner arrangements or prices. This came as a shock, although we thoroughly enjoyed the meal in spite of the high price.

Beautiful quiet castle located not very far from (German) nature reserve. Very good kitchen, nice dinner adapted to personal wishes. Service in general ok. Hotel basic outfit is ok, although room is pretty simple for 4 stars.

Dinner priced according to high standard. Drinks at dinner (wine and cognac) are extraordinary expensive. No minibar in room. So byo!

The perfect setting and view

1. The nightstaff did not know about wireless internet connection, the method is not convenient 2. The hotel advertises with the best breakfast in Holland, this is far beside the truth, especially when there are fewer guests staying at the hotel 3. The cleaning staff was too loud and started too early
