Hotel information

Hotel San Giacomo*** was completely restored in 2001. It had 30 rooms all nicely furnished and brightfull. Our breakfast room makes you starting the day in a great way thanks to its rich buffet of delightful food, and magnificent view on Venetian Plain and on Prealps. The same room is at disposition of our business clients for meetings till to 40/45 people including possibility of coffee break. We also are at disposition to give you all information about the area and things to do here.

Food & beverage

In the hotel's own restaurant Il Melograno, available upon reservation, you can taste delicious and superior dishes. Among the specialities in the rich and varie menu you will always find seasonal ingredients, such as Radicchio di Treviso, prepared in many different ways. The restaurant also offers several cold cuts and typical cheeses accompanied by the traditional polenta (a dish made from boiled cornmeal). Local red and white wines are available

Room information

All of the 30 rooms are bright and spacious, with King and Queen-size beds, comfortable bathrooms and all common facilities. Some of them also have a terrace and a view on Monte Grappa, the others on the Venetian plain.

Area information

Hotel San Giacomo is situated in Paderno del Grappa, just a few minutes from Asolo and 15 km from Bassano del Grappa, Castelfranco Veneto and Feltre, on the green Venetian plain.

The surrounding landscape is relaxing, fascinating, and particularly tranquil. Situated between Treviso and Vicenza, the hotel is strategic for tourists in search of relaxing or more active holidays, with many opportunities for fun.

The Hotel is in front of a complete sports centre with swimming pool, fitness room, sauna, tennis courts, and football court. Asolo Golf Club, with a 27-hole golf course is only10 minutes away by car.

Mount Grappa is a paradise for bikers and hikers, as well as one of the best paragliding destinations in Europe. Three fascinating old military paths near the hotel lead to a historic battle field.

The staff were charming and helpful the rooms and public areas immacculately clean. the views wonderful the area quiet.

The hotel advertised restaurant and swimming pool. The small print says the pool is down the road but the pool was closed during our stay.There were no restaurant facilities either. Italian holiday period and guest facilites obvioulsy reduced - it would be only fair to make this clear when booking - we actually only had B&B services so could have stayed eslewhere cheaper too.

The room was very modern in its look and feel, large enough shower that 2 could use at same time if they wanted conserving water, convienent parking lot and easy to find.

Breakfast left something to be desired, but staff was very helpful.

La disponibilité du personnel, toujours la pour vous guider,vous aider et vous conseiller. Hôtel neuf et très sympathique.

La piscine n'est pas à l'hotel comme indiqué sur booking.com, mais dans un établissement extérieur...

Personnel toujours à l'écoute, très aimable, prêt à vous aider dans toutes vos recherches touristiques, réservations de musées... prêt à vous préparer une petite collation en dehors des heures de restauration si nécessaire, l'endroit est calme, et frais au pied des collines, idéal pour se reposer avant d'affronter les chaleurs des villes de Vénétie. Salle du petit-déjeuner très agréable.
