We would like to welcome you in our cozy guest house de Zeven Provinciën the oldest guest house of the island Texel. In the past, old naval heroes, such as Michiel de Ruyter, used to stay at this guest house to rest after long periods at sea.
Guest house de Zeven Provinciën is a simple guest house with a restaurant that, above anything else, has always kept its cozy atmosphere.

Activities on the island:
We have ample suggestions! The island Texel offers 25 km of white beaches and no less than 120 km worth of cycle routes. In addition to this, you can hike everywhere to your heart's content.

The possibilities on Texel are numerous indeed! The island offers many options.

Therefore we gladly help you on your way in the mornings. However, you can also follow the hike and cycle routes and there is information available on sights and fun activities.

EcoMare
EcoMare is a centre on Texel for mudflats and the North Sea. This is the place where you will find out all sorts about nature on Texel, the Wadden Sea and the North Sea. You will also get to know more about the influence of mankind on this area.

Flora (museum for shipwrecks and beachcomber)
Flora displays treasures of the beach that are up to 70 years old! Listen to the exciting tales of the beachcomber.

Grand Children's Playground Texel
Children can climb, clamber, slide, jump and much more on the large playground. Go mad in the ball pit, while your parents watch from the terrace. The playground is open every day and the entrance is free.

Additionally there are excursions through nature, six museums, a golf court, nice shops and many events. A week prior to you arrival you will receive an e-mail with an overview of the many activities that go on during the time of your stay. Proximity to the harbor. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfasts were good.

Having the bathroom outside the room was not something we were used to and took some adjustment.

The room is very clean, that's really comfortable. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Very quiet in the evening.

the location is not so good. you don't have a lot to do nearby the hotel. only the fishing boat. that's a little bit boring in the evening.also that's the reason why it's quiet in the evening.

De kwaliteit van het eten en ontbijt. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding

Kamer was veel te warm doordat er geen airco was of men de gordijnen
niet gesloten had. Er stond een te kleine en te lawaaige matig
werkenende ventilator. Kamer zat nog onder de dode muggen van vorige
kamerbewoners.

La situation de l"hôtel est superbe. C'est encore un de ces hôtels qui a du caractère. La demi pension y est excellente de même que le déjeuner. Le personnel très sympa.

Enorm vriendelijk en professioneel personeel (een combinatie die je nog zelden vindt).

De bedden waren erg smal, maar dat heeft ook alles te maken met dat wij beiden groot zijn.

Het hotel was makkelijk te bereiken en dicht bij de haven enz. De sfeer was gemoedelijk en de prijs erg gunstig in mijn geval. Ik waardeerde het zeer dat ik een kopje warm drinken klaar kon maken op de kamer.

Wat ik meende te missen was een stopkontakt om mijn telefoon op te laden.Toen kon ik de waterkoker niet gebruiken! Ondanks dit was ik zeer tevreden en zal reklame voor jullie maken
