De witte klok
Along the Friesian salt marsh coastline lies the picturesque village Oude Bildtzijl. In the heart of the village is a beautifully resorted guesthouse. This guesthouse has had the name De Witte Klok since 1664. Four luxury rooms are available, each suitable for up to four guests. Each room is equipped with a kitchen, bathroom/ toilet, lounge area with television and telephone. Many local tourists attractions, like the Eleventowns race village and towns of Bartlehiem, Leeuwarden and Dokkum, can be found within a distance of 30 kilometres.
3 kilometres away are the salt marshes of the Waddenzee. Here you can enjoy the open spaces, or cycle to the highest terp in Friesland. Within 10 minutes drive is the small port of Holwerd, where daytrips can be taken with a ferry to the island Ameland.
