The hotel is located in a quiet residential area near the forest and near the center of Oosterbeek.
It is a family hotel suitable for the tourist as well as the business guest.

In WW II the hotel received the nickname 'White House'. Nowadays many veterans and their families visit the historic hotel. Also because it is in walking distance of the Airborne cemetery and the Airborne Museum. The train station is 150 meters away.

If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and extra beds

All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.

All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.

All older children or adults are charged EUR 7.50 per night and person for extra beds.

Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

The historic location, the friendly and very personal service. the hotel itself is very traditionally furnished which was of immense appeal. Access to local facilities and sites of historical interest was unrivalled.

Friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Nice family atmosphere. Comfortable public rooms.

The breakfast was overpriced for what it was. Room carpet could do with a clean or replacing.

Thr proprietor is a delightful gentleman, keen to help in every way. The library is comfortable. It is very convenient for the Airborne Museum and railway station. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable although the ensuite shower room was miniscule.

The restaurant has no atmosphere at all and the evening meal is on a "take it or leave it" basis with no choice. On a constructive note, the management needs to make more of the building's history in connection with Operation Market Garden if the hotel is to continue to appeal to the current and future generation of military and civilian guests. (No doubt the Market Garden veterans think it is marvellous!)

The hotel was very 'Dutch' rather than being an anonymous hotel that could have been anywhere. It was fascinating to find a picture of it in the nearby Arnhem war museum as it was after the 'Bridge Too Far' attack. The breakfast was excellent, and staff spoke good English. We would be happy to go back and stay a bit longer.

Bathroom - shower had no proper base so the whole floor was quickly wet.

The advice of the hotel manager is helping us arrange a train trip to Amsterdam and allowing us to keep our rental car at the hotel.

I also was very interested in the scrapbook about this hotel's history in the Battle of Arnhem during World War II. I found this quite by accident is the collection of books in the downstairs sitting room. The Allied war cemetery is just a few blocks from this hotel...an easy walk in a very pleasant neighborhood.

Everything was perfect, staff were very helpful, manager was a pleasure to deal with and talk to.Meals were great. Rooms quiet and comfortable .
We borrowed bikes from Hotel and they were in good order and safe.
A really enjoyable stay...

Zeer gemoedelijke en vriendelijke ontvangst. Het voelde gelijk heel vertrouwd,Ontbijtbuffet was heerlijk! Je mocht de hele dag koffie of thee vragen, eventueel fietsen. Rustige en mooie omgeving.Wij gingen een weekje op historische route, en hebben veel dingen en musea bezocht van WO II. Dit hotel past helemaal in het plaatje. Ik denk ook vooral voor veel veteranen een prachtig plekje.

Alles was prima!
