On the northern outskirts of Emmen, in the heart of the wooded Hondsrug hill range and its famous megalithic monuments, Lubbelinkhof is a charming four star hotel and reputed gourmet restaurant. The hotel is formed by an old farmhouse topped with a huge thatched roof and a new modern wing, both surrounded by lush and peaceful gardens. The hotel is a successful mix of green surroundings, rustic setting and stylish contemporary design interiors, enhanced with soothing shades and plenty of natural light. The atmosphere is of cosiness and casual elegance throughout, with welcoming lounges and shaded terraces. At the restaurant, housed in the ancient farmhouse, culinary creations are accompanied by an excellent wine list and served in the bright and cosy dining room or al fresco on the terrace in summer.

Hotel information

Hotel Lubbelinkhof offers various sorts of accomodation. All 32 rooms (and disabled) are fitted with every modern conveniences such as modem connection, satellite TV and comfortable armchairs. There is also a restaurant, bar, business desk and conference room.

Room information

Accommodation is distributed between the two wings and comprises three types of rooms: Standard, Executive and Executive Deluxe. Standard rooms are located in the original farm building and in the new wing. In the new wing, guest rooms in the ground floor enjoy a private terrace opening up onto the gardens, while rooms on the first floor have a loggia. Executive deluxe rooms are distributed between the farmhouse and boast en-suite bathrooms with whirlpool and separate bathtub and shower. All rooms are fitted with every modern conveniences such as modem connection, satelite TV and comfortable armchairs.

The restaurant!

Somewhat noisy rooms, tiles outside door contribute besides too early cleaning staff. Ah: weekend breakfast until 10:30, weekdays untill 9:30 but easily extended if not too busy.

A very quaint yet elegant hotel in Odoorn,Netherlands. The facility was so comfortable with a wonderful staff that was willing to go above and beyond to help you. Don't look for food outside the hotel as the restaurant was wonderful and the "chef's surprise" was amazing.

Mooi gelegen, relatief kleinschalig hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel en moderne, ruime kamers. Prima bedden! Uitstekend restaurant!

Op zich dringen de geluiden uit de gang door op de kamer, maar dit heeft onze nachtrust niet verstoord.

Een mooi, schoon hotel met ruime kamers gesitueerd in een verbouwde boerderij. De verbouwing is bijzonder mooi gelukt, waarbij authentieke onderdelen in tact zijn gebleven.

De prijs die je betaald voor de kamer is exclusief ontbijt. En voor die prijs mag er wel eigenlijk best een ontbijt bij worden geserveerd. Overigens, het ontbijt zelf is extreem uitgebreid en fantastisch verzorgd.

Prachtige kamer (executive deluxe) en vooral badkamer. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel. Mooi gelegen. Perfect restaurant. Heerlijk gedineerd en ontbijt perfect. Alles even vers! In totaal een Absolute aanrader!

Stoelen in het restaurant mooi om te zien, maar niet zo breed en zitten niet lekker genoeg om lang te tafelen.
