Musée d´Histoire de la Ville de Luxembourg   (Luxembourg)
Au premier niveau de la nouvelle exposition permanente du Musée d'Histoire, une chronologie rassemblant les dates-clés de l'histoire de la ville de Luxembourg permet au visiteur de mieux comprendre l'évolution de Luxembourg, depuis la première occupation du site jusqu'à l'indépendance du pays en 1839. À l'entrée, une installation multimédia raconte la légende de la nymphe Mélusine et renvoie ainsi aux origines mythiques de la ville. L'installation interactive se regarde en passant, elle s'explore, avec l'espoir de retrouver la jolie fée entre terre et eau, roche et lumière, éléments formateurs de la ville...

La diversité de leur faune et de leur flore est immense, leur histoire géologique est mouvementée, leur intérêt pour l'homme très spécifique.
Toutes proportions gardées, les milieux naturels de la Grande Région ont peu à envier à des sites exceptionnels tels le Grand Canyon, les plaines du Canada ou la Provence, les ressemblances étant parfois frappantes. Tout comme ces dernières ils méritent donc le détour et invitent à un tourisme doux...
