Hotel As Janelas Verdes is situated in the romantic "Rua das Janelas Verdes", which is near the Museo Nacional de Arte Antiguo (National Museum of Antique Art) and also in close proximity of the river Tagus. The hotel is a small palace from the late 1600's.
The hotel has a bar and breakfast buffet. It also provides medical, secretarial and fax services. The hotel also offers currency exchange, car rental, travel agency and library services. Its decor is classical and it has gardens.There are rooms available for non-smokers too.

The 29 rooms are sunny and cheerful, flooded with the romantic and welcoming feeling that this 17th century mansion transmits.
All rooms have a bathroom with Molton Brown amenities.

Located in one of the old typic & old quarters of Lisboa, just besides the Ancient Art museum.Belém distric where you can visit Jeronimos Monastery, Tower of Belém, Padrão dos Descobrimentos and the Royal Coach museum, is just at 1km distance.
Just outside As Janelas Verdes you have a wide selection of very good Portuguese restaurant.

As Janelas Verdes was everything we expected and more. The hotel is quaint and beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, there is interent in the rooms, Molton Brown amenities, high quality towels, large tub, very large bathroom, view of the Tagus River ... a lovely, lovely hotel! I would definitely recommend this to anyone going to Lisbon. You are close to local restaurants and if you do not want to walk, you can catch the public transport very close to the hotel.

everything...it as the perfect hotel in every way

one small point...the rooms on the street side are pretty quiet,but there is a nightclub directly across the dtreet that is busy until 4am!

La possibilité d'utiliser la terrasse librairie pour des moments de detente, avec facilité de prendre une boisson (tasse du thé!) librement avec 'honesty box'. Convivial et 'cosy'.

La chambre n'a pas une charme énorme (mais les 'parties communes' sont vraiment excellentes). Aussi j'avais l'impression que parceque nous avions obtenu une tariff avantageuse par internet nous n'avons pas été offert intitialement la meilleure chambre disponible.
