The hotel Birke is situated in the West of Kiel, close the freeway A215 altough in a green environment.
Hotel Birke its situated leafy but nonetheless convenient at just a 10-minutes drive from the city center of the federal state capital. Directly behind the hotel you find the Hasseldieksdamm woods and the typical small thatched farmhouses and cottages.
The hotel has a wellness and spa area "Birke Day Spa" and a modern award-winnig "Birke Business Center" and also a delicious restaurant "Fischers Fritz".

The hotels offers 82 quiet and cosy rooms. All rooms are decorated in the typical northern style: bright and warm colours with light wood panels. In front of the hotel and in the garden green-white wicker beach chairs invite to relax and enjoy the sun. Our 4 comfortable apartments with kitchenette are the perfect "home away from home" for our long-term-guests.
Non-smoking rooms, rooms accessible for handicapped people and shared rooms are available upon request.

in kiel you can choose between a great variety of leisure activities. The sporty kind will enjoy playing golf at one of the 5 18-Hole-Courses or benefit from the sea while sailing, rowing, canoeing or visiting our wonderful beaches.

The staff was very kind, the use of swimming pool was very nice and the rooms are quite comfortable. Frau Rue was very good employe and will get my deepest gratitude for being so nice as she was. The breakfast was exellent, staff was cabable and even the owner came by during breakfast and asked if everything was in order. I put a great value on that. All in all, I do recomend this hotel.

I could not find any minuses...

The facilities, presenation and staff are of the highest standard and I will certainly stay again when in the area. All staff met also talked goog English.

As with many hotels the soap in the room was from a dispenser - which had not been filled up.

Short overnight stay, arrived after midnight and left before 8.00am, however hotel clean, comfortable and staff very friendly and helpfull.

Obst im Wellnessbereich - Restaurant (einschl. der Mitarbeiter) top!

Einige der Mitarbeiter vermittelten leider den Eindruck, man würde sie stören. Handtücher im Wellnessbereich nur auf nachdrückliche Nachfrage.

nein. Die negativen Eintragungen zu den Gästebewertungen bei Booking sind extrem lachhaft. Die negativen Eintragungen gibt es nur weil die Leute unfähig sind...Schwimmbad ist umsonst und ein Radiosender gibt es im Fernsehprogramm
