This 4-star hotel run by the Hermann family has 2 restaurants, bars, spa with Finnish sauna, bio-light sauna, Turkish steam room, infrared cabin and pool. Treatments and massages are available too.

The hotel is located on a hill with a beautiful view over Kaprun and still only 10 minutes to walk into the center.

The rates at the hotel are all including half board, sports program, guided hiking tours, excursions, bike rental during summer season, shuttle service to the Lechnerberg chair lift and the Schaufelberg chair lift during winter season as well as childcare during 6 days a week, parking places directly at the hotel, service charges and taxes.

For the balance of body and soul we recommend a visit to our harmony studio. Relax with a massage or find more out about your health by an Iris diagnosis. The right holiday tent guarantees our sun bed. Our summer slogan is "Enjoy the sun in the snow or at the lake". The glacier at the „Kitz-steinhorn” is an ideal place for snow sport enthusiasts the whole year long.
Summer:
Kaprun and the Europa-Sportregion are also perfect for mountain-biking. Kaprun has a long tradition as organiser of mountain bike events.

Winter:
A nearly endless ski resort is awaiting all snow sport fans.

What a moment when the the first sunray touches the white snow and lets the crystals sparkle up at 3000 m height while you start
skiing down the slopes.

For those who prefer it quieter, we recommend Nordic walking, a toboggan run or a horse-drawn sleigh ride.

If the room can be sold again, no cancellation fee will be charged. We kindly offer you not to cancel your stay but to change your dates within one year. Please note that in this case price differences can occur.

Food & beverage

Within our half board you will enjoy a wide selection at our hot and cold breakfast buffet or order fresh pancakes and more from the breakfast menu. Afternoon tea with cakes and sandwiches is served between 4 pm and 5 pm. In the evening a 3 or 4 course menu of your choice awaits you.
The "Kaminbar" with an open fireplace is the best place to enjoy a glass of good Austrian wine and sample the wide selection of cigars we offer.

Area information

In the Europa Sports Region around Zell am See, there is an extraordinary range of different sports options available. As a golf partner hotel we offer our guests discounted green fees for the Zell am See-Kaprun golf course, the largest in the Alps. However, the region not only offers many leisure activities. The reservoirs and the power plants at Mooserboden are very impressive and afford an astonishing view over the 3,000-metre mountains and the rare flora and fauna. The famous waterfalls in Krimml are well worth a visit, as is the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. The city of Salzburg with its beautiful old town is only a 1-hour drive away. The glacier ski area at the Kitzsteinhorn is a skiing and snowboarding paradise in every season and in every weather.

The restaurant in quite good.

The sauna and relaxing area are exclusively nude area therefore people that want to "stay dressed" (with the swimming suite) are not welcomed.

Excelent choice money vs quality.Best restaurant in Kaprun you'll find it here, and it has few good surprises for you aswell...The views are great, durring the sommer you can still see the snow on the highest peaks surrownding the area. The lake near by, Zell am See , can offer you beach areas and rental - water sport facilities.

The high quality cooking of the hotel restaurant. Anyway, all the services included in the hotel rate were excellent.

We expected that in a four-star hotel the staff would speak Italian.

The staff was friendly, the food was good, the rooms were clean, beautiful location. They also had free childcare from 12pm to 9pm. We really enjoyed our stay and if we ever went to kaprun again, we'll be staying here again.

The pillows were too soft and the mattress was a bit saggy in the middle.

too far from the bus station,so not easy access to the sloaps that are pretty far.They have a shuttle but only 8 seats,not enough for the guests.
