In the hotel or the immediate area you can hire a bicycle, go for a stroll or take a boat-trip between the pier and yachting harbour.
Within 10 km in the Kühlungsborn area, you can make trips on the Morada Express, or go for guided tours, for instance to Heiligendamm. Alternatively take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage or a trip on the Molli narrow-gauge railway.
Within 20 km you can visit the spa town of Bad Doberan and see the famous cathedral.
Within 40 km you can visit Warnemünde, take a boat-trip around the harbour and stroll along the Alter Strom shopping mile. Go and see the Hanseatic town of Wismar with its Hanseatic traditions and its Gothic sandstone architecture. Do a sightseeing tour and visit a wine cellar. Visit Rostock, go sightseeing and explore the beautiful harbour area.

The hotel is located close to the Baltic Sea and it's in a resort area with beautiful sand beaches. Breakfast was extensive and the breakfast room bad a nice view. The walkway near the Sea is great.
The hotel seems to have a lot of nice rooms with balconies facing the sea but we were not given such a room. We were given a room in an out building, small with a slanted wall where you had to be careful not to hit your head. Threre was a tiny so called balcony with no view of anything expect the next outbuilding.

Hotelpersonal erklärte die Modalitäten des Essens schlecht. Da es zwei ansässige Restaurants gibt, war uns nicht klar, in welchem wir vom Buffet nehmen dürfen. Ein Ansprechpartner war nicht zugegen. Wir nahmen natürlich das Falsche und wurden dann recht unfreundlich in das andere geschickt. Dort wurde uns nicht gesagt, dass bereits ein Tisch für uns reserviert und gedeckt ist - wieder falsch...
