Hotel Oranjeoord is a stylish hotel in the protected monument village of Hoog Soeren, the highest point of the Veluwe region.

The hotel is set in the midst of the woodlands and farmlands of the Crown Estates Nature Reserve, only a few kilometres away from Apeldoorn.
Hotel Oranjeoord offers guests all possible comfort in a tranquil environment for both recreational and business purposes.

With a choice of eight conference rooms, a restaurant, a conservatory and patio with wonderful views, the hotel once belonged to the royal family and dates back to 1898.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Restaurant HoogHeid is the excellent à la carte restaurant from Hotel Oranjeoord. A diner at restaurant HoogHeid is a unique experience. Not only because of the beautiful location, but also because of the stylish and comfortable decoration.

Room information

Our 28 spacious rooms are each fitted with bath and/or shower, toilet, telephone, alarm clock, radio, television and internet. Unique, is the fact that all rooms are different and are furnished individually.

Area information

Hoog Soeren offers plenty of opportunities for pleasant excursions and outings. Our hotel is located right in the middle of a nature reserve called ‘ The Crown Estates’. In and around the village there are many walking and biking trails, in particular the one around the Aardhuis, the former hunting rchalet of king Willem III.
Apeldoorn, within a few kilometres of the hotel, offers a large variety of shops and musea. It also boasts it’s own theatre and conference centre ‘Orpheus’. The internationally well-known Apenheul (a monkey game reserve) is well worth a visit. Other attractions include the Palace ‘Het Loo’ with its stunning formal gardens, Park ‘Berg & Bos’, the Royal Houtvesterijen, the Van Reekum Museum, the ‘Queen Juliana Tower’, the Veluwsche steam train, the Zoo in Epe, the Kröller Müller Museum with paintings of Van Gogh, and our National Park, the ‘Hoge Veluwe”
You can hire bicycles at our hotel, to explore the beautiful forest and the wild moors. You can relax during a game of golf (nine holes) at our Golf Club. If you’d rather stay at our hotel, you can spend some quiet time in our sun lounge, or relax in our beauty salon.

this hotel is beautiful and located in a magical location in what is known as the Dutch Green Forest. The rooms were comfortable and the common areas were nicely appointed. The restaurant was 5 star and they offered a nice buffet breakfast (not included in room price). we Highly recommend this hotel.

really nice hotel in a fabulus area inside the forest

the last night i went for a drink in apeldoorn the closest city and i came back at 2 oclock nobody was at the reception neither nobody answered the phone so i had to sleep in my car.despite tha fact the other day they apologised for the inconvinience and i didnt pay for this night.

vind het hotel zeer prettig door attent personeel, ligging, toegankelijkheid van verschilllende ruimtes en uitstekend diner

vond de entourage tijdens ontbijt wat rommelig. Er stonden hier en daar nog spullen om op te ruimen, tafels en stoelen nog niet gerangschikt, onduidelijke voorwerpen langs de wanden. Maar.. dat kon de positieve ervaring nauwelijks temperen

Het hotel is erg mooi gelegen, nette kamers en mooi ingericht.

We hadden de mooiste kamer gereserveerd (kamer 33) en hadden gemeld dat we mogelijk een tweede nacht wilden blijven. Toen we na één nacht daadwerkelijk wilden verlengen, bleek dat we dan wel naar een andere kamer moesten. Twee andere minpunten: 's avonds laat werden we bij het hotel 'verwelkomd' door een grote blaffende hond en zaterdag om 9 uur werden wakker van een elektrische snoeischaar

het ontbijt wordt geserveerd in de brasserie en men eet van de kale tafel dus geen papieren onderlegger hetgeen onhygiënisch is......
