Hotel Lapershoek is located in a park-like setting on the outskirts of Hilversum. The building, a spacious and elegant fin-de-ciecle villa, is typical of the Gooi Region. The hotel is situated in the heart of The Netherlands, surrounded by woods and parklands. It is conveniently close to the main motorway to Amsterdam and Utrecht and only 20 minutes' drive from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The hotel is only 300 metres from Hilversum-Sportpark railway station. Parking in the hotel car park is free of charge. Hotel Lapershoek has 80 tastefully decorated guest rooms. The hotel also has its own video network. In the relaxed and convivial setting of the Vivaldi Restaurant, guests can dine in style and enjoy culinary delights appropriate to the season. The chef and his team devote the utmost care and attention to preparing a range of exquisite and original creations. Located next to the restaurants, De Serre, is a popular meetingplace for people from the entire region. On fine summer days the roof is thrown open to the sky. The glass structure, the warm contemporary decor and the unique atmosphere of De Serre all combine to give you the feeling that you are truly taking your leisure in a traditional conservatory.

Hotel Lapershoek has 80 tastfully decorated hotelrooms. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom wherein you will find a shower and a bathtub, hair Dryer, direct dial telephone, computer connection and a color television with in house movie channel.

Area information

This radio- and television in the centre of The Netherlands offers much more then most people expect. The television studios of The Netherlands are located in Hilversum. You are welcome to attend a recording to see how a program is made. The "Goois Museum" is located in the renovated council building of Hilversum and hosts different traveling exhibitions. Ten minutes by foot you will be able to visit castle Groeneveld in Baarn which dates from about 1700. The castle is surrounded by a formal French garden and a English scenic garden. The national centre for woods, nature and landscapes is housed in the castle. The artcollection of the American Singer couple forms the basis of the Singer exhibition in the Singer museum in Laren. At the rurally located museum you will find a crulpture garden where, among other fine pieces, you
will be able to see The Thinker by the artist Rodin. Castle-museum Sypesteyn in Loosdrecht is a young castle with allure and a rich collection. The garden was created in a 17th century style within the moats around the castle. Bessides many special treetypes you
can also enjoy a maze in the park.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the outside terrace area was very pleasent

The room did need refurbising and airconditioning would be nice as the hotel is on a busy road island so very noisy if the window is open ,the room would also benefit from extras like iron and ironing board and minibar

Location of hotel

Corridors poor quality with significant damage, poor sound insulation,
refusal to open terrace on Friday lunchtime as |"too busy and not enough
staff", this is not a four star hotel. It is barely three star

The restaurant! Nice variety of well-prepared dishes & very professional.

Mold in the bathroom/shower. One of the first things I look for in a hotel.

The sunny terrace where we had our breakfast; the good beds

The rude receptionist on arrival; the tired decor of the hotel; the breakfast buffet; the lack of service at breakfast (dirty dishes everywhere)

ontbijt hebben wij op de kamer gebruikt dit kosten slechts 4 euro meer. op een formulier wat je kreeg kan je precies invullen wat je zou willen en ook hoe laat je dit op de kamer wenst. onze tijd was half 11 maar kwam na 2 keer bellen om 11:10 uur toen was de koffie koud geen suiker of melk kouden eieren druiven die aan het gisten waren en beleg wat we besteld hadden zat er niet bij.
