Set in a peaceful rural location, the hotel has 64 rooms and 1 suite. 2 train stations lie less than 3km from the hotel, offering easy access to Amsterdam, Haarlem, Alkmaar and the North Sea beaches.

Food & beverage

The restaurant offers an extensive variety of Dutch and international dishes, with the capacity to serve up to 200 guests. Enjoy your meal with one of the many international wines from our cellar. There is a daily menu for EUR 36 and all credit cards are accepted.

Breakfast: Mon-Fri 07:00 – 09:30, Sat – Sun 08:00 – 10:30.
Dinner: 19:00 – 21:00.
The bar is open from 17:00 – 01:00 and drinks can be enjoyed outside in the summer.

Area information

In the direct surroundings of the hotel you will find stretched out bulb fields, a golf course and the cities Alkmaar, Amsterdam and Haarlem. The beach of the North Sea is also in the vicinity of the hotel and Schiphol Airport can be reached in only 25 minutes.

All of above + we thought it was an excellent idea to have a hot water warmer, a cattle in the room. we used it very well. I wish there was a sellection on herbal teas along with it.

No. For the price and location it was all allright. The sign on the left could be little bit more visible. Maybe a spot ligth to indicate that customers need to turn to the right. Because when entered to the pathway to the castle one consantrates to the castle in the distance ant tends to miss the sign indicating the hotel is on the right.

There was no restaurant in the hotel, just a small cart after 8 pm.

Beautiful location: in a small castle park, with views across a small lake. Very quiet, but still within walking distance of Heemskerk town and easy reach by car or public transport from Amsterdam.
Big rooms (for the Netherlands).

The hotel interior clearly dates back to at least the early 1990s and could do with some renovation. No restaurant in the hotel, and the hotel bar had a rather sad atmosphere.

Mooie ligging, dicht bij allerlei leuke plaatsen

Kamer was wat verouderd. Bad met hele hoge instap en dus gevaarlijk.Verder weinig activiteit in het hotel

vriendelijk personeel ,goed ontbijt ,1 uur eerder toegang tot de kamer bij aankomst

Fietsen stalling bij lange niet toereikend .dure fietsen moet meestal in de openlucht staan ,ook is de stalling niet afsluitbaar

Lekkere, ruime kamer met een balkon (voor mij als roker!)

De temperatuur op de kamer was te hoog, dus een ventilator zou niet verkeerd zijn

de ligging

de keuken nu dicht owv renovatie > weinig keuze in de bar; met de temperaturen van de afgelopen week, had aangepast beddengoed en een ventilator/airco alsook een antimuggapparaat geen overtollige luxe geweest; tenslotte betekent de vakantieperiode niet dat iedereen met vakantie is: de baliemedewerker zou bij de uitcheck zijn persoonlijke gesprekje met de op bezoek zijnde sales mogen staken...

Wij hebben enkele fietsen gehuurd. Deze zijn oud, zouden beter onderhouden moeten worden en zijn nodig aan vervanging toe.
