On the outskirts of Darlington, this charming establishment offers comfortable, well equipped accommodation, convenience and simplicity, all at great value-rates.

The hotel is well situated, neighbouring the North Yorkshire Moors and Dales, the Beamish Open Air Museum and the historic city of Durham.

As well as being very popular with the local business community, the hotel also offers a relaxing place to spend the night for the local traveller or tourist.

There is a public house annexed to the hotel, with a garden, including seating areas where customers can enjoy their food and drink. The public house has a great bar and offers good food, from traditional pub meals to contemporary food.

The hotel has 40 comfortable en suite rooms, all of which are decorated to a high standard. Staff are helpful and friendly, and the hotel combines traditional comfort with modern convenience.

Everything was good as usual - easy to book in. There is always someone pleasent to greet us and we are left alone to ourselves. The rooms are adequate for what we need.

Just the bed was a little too hard (we suffer with back problems so it is difficult anyway)!

Large, comfortable room. Lots of free parking. Friendly staff. Value for money. Location.

Cleanliness could be better (some of the furniture in my room was very dusty, bathroom a bit shabby). It's difficult to find if you're looking for the J&S hotel - it's actually called the White Horse Hotel!

It just a 1 night stay hotel. Just a Ok types hotel.

Cleaningness, the radiator was not working so temporary arrangement was done with blowers.Small room.

The plesantnes of the staff. Easy access to town by bus.
The Pub & Resteruant next door is been renovated & next year will start on the hotel

The price was right ... better than a travellodge. The location is
perfect for Darlington and surrounding area

...Lack of a very close resturant... But with the new 'steak hous'
being open right next to it in th enear future.. Then you could not
ask for more
