La Salvetat, a charming 3 star hotel, is located just outside Cadouin (famous for its Cistercian abbey). We are perfectly situated for touring Sarlat, Bergerac, Perigueux, Les Eyzies, Monpazier and Lascaux.

This is also a place to come just to relax, to discover the regional gastronomy of the Dordogne, or to enjoy any number of activities, including walking, eating and drinking, visiting vineyards, cycling, tours of gardens and chateaux, water sports and much more. Lounge by the pool, with its gorgeous views over the surrounding countryside, linger over an aperitif as the sun goes down, enjoy meals of local and regional specialities on the spacious outdoor terrace or around the big open fireplace in the dining room of the restaurant.
PLEASE NOTE: the restaurant is closed every Sunday for dinner and every Monday for lunchtime.

Steve and Ann Jordan and their staff welcome you to La Salvetat, a family-run friendly 3-star hotel, delightfully situated near Cadouin, in tranquil, open countryside in the heart of the Bessede forest.

Enjoy panoramic views, pretty bedrooms with cosy terraces, an infinity swimming pool and a mature park and gardens.

In the cooler months, dine in the charming restaurant with a huge central wood fire, or in summer, on the shady terrace with fine views.

Food & beverage

The continental breakfast is served in the restaurant or on the terrace in the summer time.
A full a la carte menu is served at lunch and dinner. Vegetarian cuisine and snacks are also available.
The cuisine is based on fresh local produce.

Area information

Amongst the rolling hills of oak and chestnut trees are valleys rich with crops and orchards. There is something for every visitor: stunning hill top castles, pretty villages of warm sandstone, enchanting gardens and unspoilt medieval bastide towns and abbeys.

Vineyards allow you to savour the distinctive personality of the region’s diverse wines, whilst restaurants offer the traditional fare for which the Périgord region is famous.

Markets bustle with stallholders selling their fine regional produce and, throughout it all, as it has done for centuries, the majestic Dordogne - the river of hope - meanders gently on its way.

The hotel can help arrange local activities such as walking, canoeing, horse-riding, golf, tennis, fishing, quad, biking.

De rust, prachtige landelijke omgeving, ontbijt en diner op terras met prachtig uitzicht, ook prachtig gelegen zwembad én het kleine tuinterrasje voor de hotelkamer

soms direct naastgelegen kamer wat gehorig.

De ligging van het hotel is mooi.Het eten is goed alleen duurde het allemaal erg lang.

De kamer erg klein ,smal bed spinnenwebben in de kamer,kleine televisie met een ouderwtse spriet antenne deed het niet goed wij konden bijna niets zien van de voetbalwedstrijd holland-rusland.
