Renovated in 2007, the Chambord Hotel is housed in an Art Deco building. Three modular meeting rooms, equipped with modern facilities, welcome up to 100 guests in total. Treat yourself, after a long day of sightseeing or work, to a drink from the bar or relax in the comfort of your room.

Important information

Please note: From 1 July to 30 August 2008 the hotel is having a mayor renovation to upgrade the service level offered.

We have had a nice room. The location of the hotel is really good.

There is no fridge in the room.

Good service from staff. Breakfast bar has a nice view. Wireless internet available for reasonable price.

There was no air-conditioning and little means of getting any air-flow - room was very hot.

Front desk was very helpful and efficient with our questions and needs.
Breafast was very good and had a large nice selection of food.

Shower was very small, the doors barely closed in the cylinder type
shower. Remodeling was going on at the hotel which caused alot of noise
early in the morning ( Not happy) It woud have also been alot more
comfortable if there was air conditioning in room.

location

beds were much too soft, bath-room needs rennovation, soda machine was not filled up for 2 days, no possibility to get drinking-water in the evening, check-out took terribly long (complicated procedures with credit-cards... block the money already during the check-in, effectively book it only after check-out.)

Breakfast and breakfast room (though finding it was not so good, strangely-narrow and unclear corridor/stairs).

Room needed some refurbishment, especially bathroom; though mostly well-cleaned. Public area around lift/stairs also needed some refurb.

It was very central and enables us to get to all parts of the city.

I don't think our bedroom was renovated last year. the dining room and reception areas had been renovated but I am unsure whether any or some rooms were also updated last year
