Hotel information

The recent renovation was carried out by the architect Karin Espinosa Morel. Turning to the Art Nouveau lines and curls of Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) for inspiration, the decor now reflects Le Palace's original turn-of-the-century style. She has combined this with a modern touch and modern comforts for today's business and leisure traveller.

The hotel's facilities now include:

- Deco Verre cafè - boasting more than 35 typical Belgian beers
- 24 hours room service

Food & beverage

Art Deco is not only the source of inspiration for the new decoration but also for the name of the restaurant. The combination of Nouveau with the word Taste can also be freely interpreted as new taste, which is exactly what you will find here.

The restaurant, Nouveau Taste, serves:

- Breakfast: 06.30 - 10.30 Monday to Friday, and 06.30 - 11.00 Saturday and Sunday.
- Lunch: 12.00 - 14.30 each day.
- Dinner: 18.30 - 22.00 Sunday to Friday, and 18.30 - 22.30 on Saturdays.

A 2-course meal is charged at EUR 30.
A 3-course meal is charged at EUR 35.

You will find a selection of Belgian specialties next to international cuisine and specials on the menu. Should you have limited time, light and easy dishes are served.

Business menus can be arranged on request.

Deco Verre is not your typical Belgian cafè; the look is trendy, leaning towards lounge.
The cafè offers you a wide selection of Belgian Beers: more than 35 different beers and even its own Deco Verre beer.
Every Thursday evening Belgian folk and jazz lovers get together in Deco Verre's Palace Music Club. Both renowned artists visiting Brussels and young talented artists perform here from 19.30 onwards.
Deco Verre is open from 16.00 - 01.00 each day.

Room Service: is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Decorated in an Art Nouveau style, copies of Klimt's artwork adorn the walls and are complimented by, adaptable lighting and Art Deco inspired cupboards, giving the new rooms a unique style.

the staff in the reception were very accomodating and helpful. the hotel's in a convenient location. close to everything from bus stops to train stations, convenient shops to malls and from parks to famous landmarks.

location, close to main shopping hub, short walk to Grand Place, Metro close by, Gare du Nord walking distance. 12 noon checkout fantastic, great breakfast. Highly recommended, would stay again without hesitation. Room good size (we had twin) bathroom large

Air conditioning appeared to require some maintenance, did not appear to be working all that well, as it was not too hot in May this was fine.

The location was perfect for me to continue my journey by Brussels Nord. The hotel is beautiful although old style and was excellent value too during the weekend.

A bit of old style rooms, though some people like this style. Didn't get the double bed I asked for, but a twin room.

Great choice of breakfast. Hotel staff in general very helpful and accomodating with our requests. Pillows were the best i've ever experienced.

Bar staff need to be increased for Jazz weekend as they were not very attentive. Had to wait ages for our drinks to be served. The cheaper rooms at Euro 85 per night (booked 6 weeks in advance) was not such a bargain when we were given a room above what sounded like the metro line. Noise level was quite high in our room and being pregnant not brilliant for me as did not manage to sleep much.

I was staying only one night for EUR 89 incl. breakfast on a week day in Brussels. Compare to other hotels same location, close to city center, this price was extremely good. Location (Close to Metro Station "Rogier") was excellent. Breakfast was a buffet with good and wide variety of food selection.

modern room and facilities, very good breakfast, we normally don't eat brownies for breakfast, but these were outstanding

service at the bar lounge was less than attentive, even though there were only 5 customers.
