Hotel information

The building was erected in 1896 in the classical style of the 19th century. In February 2006, after a complete restoration and modernisation, our small hotel came into existence. We have made great effort to preserve the special and unique charm of the last centuries yet to add a certain freshness using modern elements.

Our rooms are of classical design, comprising harmonious colours, quality materials and modern communication technology.

Area information

We are situated in the centre of western Berlin, in the most elegant side-road of Kurfürstendamm - Leibnizstrasse. We are just next to Walter-Benjamin-Platz, which will fascinate you with its Mediterranean atmosphere, the Leibniz Colonnades and impressive fountains.

Important information

The check-in time is 12:00; if you arrive earlier, you can leave your baggage in the hotel. Our reception desk is open between 08:00 and 22:00. We therefore ask you to inform us in advance of your exact time of arrival.

Easy access, nice oldfashioned rooms, very tidy, friendly staff.

There was no lift to the hotel, with heavy luggage it was not easy to climb the stairs!

This hotel was a bit of a surprise to me. When you get to the door, you almost cannot tell that there is a hotel. You get buzzed in, walk up to the next floor, get buzzed in again and then you find you are in very pleasant, very small hotel. It could almost be described as a B&B in what seems like a large pre-war apartment. My room was comfortable. The people were kindly tolerant of my lack of Ger

Very characterful hotel. Very nice older building with nice original features and old furniture. Well situated near centre. Friendly and helpful staff: booked restaurants and taxis and lent us their umbrella! Free wireless internet access.

A little more storage space (drawers) for unpacked clothes would be useful. And some brighter lighting! But small points - overall good experience

A very nice hotel - but diffucult to have a meeting at the hotel. The staff was very helpfull. Another thing...very small toilets/bathrooms and a strange smell in the toilet/bathroom.

Check up on the toilet/bathrooms and expand the bar and meeting facilities
