Peacefully situated in a forest area within walking distance from the centre and the famous Kasteeltuinen. Excellent lodging comfort, for groups and families as well as individuals.
Pub, restaurant with reasonable prices. A front terrace and a garden terrace. Spacious parkingplace.
Tips:
The Kasteeltuinen, Thermal Bath, Grainroasting House De IJsvogel, Hertog Jan Brewery, biking and hiking. Everything is there for an enjoyable holiday.

Square circles do not exist. Still ,,The Arcener Inn,, seems like a square circle, because it combines the best of two worlds. It combines the friendly and hospitable nature of an Inn from the olden days with the comfort of a modern hotel.

,,Bruin café,, This is a term in the dutch language which can be best compared to an english pub. In this pub, where so little has changed throughout the years, the billiard, soccer and the pigeonclub still feel at home. All kinds of people meet, young and old, for interesting or light conversation and the atmosphere is friendly yet informally oldfashioned in the café.

The hotel is lovely and in a great location not only for the airport, but also for the town of Arcen and castle. The owners were very nice.

The room was simply and beautifully furnished with clean lines, spotless, with wonderful beds and a luxurious bathroom. The location is wonderful, right in the woods, quiet, but a stone's throw from everything you'd want to visit. Propretess Linda Simmons was friendly and helpful.

The old-fashioned brown decor of the cafe and restaurant was not to my particular taste, but fit perfectly in the traditions of the region.

Good breakfast!

An unsafe excercise to get in, have to walk some meters along a crowdy road and clay soil in order to reach the entrance

Gemütliches Restaurant geräumiges, gut ausgestattetes Bad

Nur 1 Zimmer Parterre. Die übrigen Zimmer über eine steile Treppe erreichbar.Für ältere Leute nicht unbedingt geeignet.
