Hotel Amstelzicht is a 3 star hotel located in the historical heart of Amsterdam behind the famous “Rembrandtplein”.
The hotel has a tasteful and warm atmosphere and is suitable for tourists because of the centrally location for shopping (Kalverstraat), Museums(Van Gogh), entertainment(Rembrandtplein) as well as business guests (RAI Exhibition Centre).
The historical building was build in 1659 and is totally renovated. The hotel does not have an elevator. For us hospitality is the most important thing and therefore we hope that we may welcome you in our hotel.
Please notice that our reception open from 8 am until 10 pm. If you are arriving before 08 am or after 10 pm,you must let us know your arrival time and flight number and we will be waiting to welcome you.
Earliest check in time for the hotel is 2 pm and for the apartments is 5 pm.

Payment must be done in full upon arrival.
Please notice that the Hotel will pre-authorize credit card 7 days prior to arrival.

One child under 4 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.

All older children or adults are charged EUR 35.00 per night and person for extra beds.

All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.

Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Because we are located near nice breakfast restaurants,we do not serve breakfast in our hotel.

In the immediate surroundings you will find lots of bars ,clubs and restaurants to suit all tastes.

Room information

Apartments:
The apartments are located behind a 17th century main door just 50 meters from the hotel. You check in at Hotel Amstelzicht, where you will receive the keys of the apartment. Rental agreement has to be signed up on arrival. The apartments are 35 square meters and have a living room, bedroom including bed linen, a bathroom(shower/toilet) including towels and a open kitchen with fridge, microwave, cooking area complementary coffee and tea. In the living room are two single sofa beds, ore rollaway beds, which can be used for a 3th and 4th person. All apartments are modern and comfortably furnished and each of them has its own atmosphere. The exact set-up can variate between the apartments. The apartments are equipped with cable TV, telephone, seating area and safe deposit box.

The apartments are self catering, this means the apartments are clean on arrival and the beds in the bedroom have been made up. If you would like to use the sofa beds you have to make them by your self, linen will be provided. During your stay there is no daily cleaning service, only in the case you stay more than 6 nights, there is a weekly cleaning service.

By check out:
Beds: Sheets and towels have to be collected and to be placed in a provided laundry bag.
Kitchen: The dishes have to be clean and tidy, the microwave has to be clean, the fridge has to be empty and has to be on the 0 position.
Floor: The floor has to be cleaned with the broom.
Dustbin: The dustbin has to be emptied in a bag and to be placed next to the front door inside the apartment.

Area information

Hotel Amstelzicht is located along the Amstel River between the Muntplein and the Muziektheater and is within walking distance of all famous attractions for shopping, culture and entertainment. The RAI Exhibition Center can be reached by tram nr. 4 (Rembrandtplein)and takes around 10 minutes.

The location was great and within walking distance of most locations.

The room I stayed in was definitely not luxurious. However, as a student, it was kind of like sleeping in a dorm room for the weekend. Although the accommodations were not the nicest, the room was clean and so was the bathroom.

Incredible location!! Especially for early to mid 20's. Not the fanciest but why would you spend time in your hotel when you're in Amsterdam anyways...

It is located near the clubs so the music at night was loud and there were people talking pretty loudly outside, if you can't sleep through some noise it's not a good hotel for you.

Location was perfect right on the Amstel River and around the block from the Rembrandtplein.

Our room was run down with broken furniture, dirty walls, torn drapery, musty odor, poor mattress, dirty glasses, noisy, the T.V. didn't work, overall feeling of uncleanliness. When we asked for an additional pillow we were told other people had already asked for it.

i liked the location of the hotel, the surrounds were very nice. the city was nice which probably is why i accepted the hotel as i was rarely in it!

the hotel on entrance was nice an clean thought the room had the most filthy carpet ive ever seen even worse than my old student house! it had many unusal stains on the floor thought the bathroom was spotless to be fair.
