The amazing A-Train Hotel is a unique 3 star hotel ideally located in front of the Central Station. All rooms are comfortably furnished and have modern bathrooms.
The A-Train Hotel was recently fully renovated to a unique 3 star hotel, in the beating heart of Amsterdam.

Shopping areas, tourist attractions, pubs restaurants, theatres, are all within walking distance. All major tram, bus, metrolines operate from the Central Station, only 15-20 minutes from Schiphol Airport, RAI and WTC.

The A-Train Hotel has a lift, a luggage store room and 24 hours check in.
No two rooms are alike in our surprising train-themed hotel! For special occasions we have the "Old Dutch Suite" with its private garden. We also have extraordinary First Class rooms, perfectly decorated and suitable for businessmen. Non-smoking and family rooms are also available.
In our truly amazing Pullman lounge you can enjoy our Dutch breakfast buffet and afterwards relax with a drink and a snack.
You can also check your mail or surf the Net in our internetcorner. The A-Train Hotel is a cosy Hotel, run by Jos and Erika Heijnsdijk and will be a comfortable place to stay during your tourist or business visit. We have special midweek and low-season prices.
We aim to please with an informal atmosphere.

Food & beverage

In our truly amazing Pullman lounge you can enjoy our Dutch breakfast buffet which we serve from 7.00 until 10.00 o'clock.

After breakfast you can use our Pullman lounge, to relax with a drink and a snack. In our internet corner you can check your e-mail and surf the net.

All 34 rooms are comfortably furnished and have modern bathrooms with a hair-dryer and are equipped with radio, cable TV with pay TV, safe, work desk, direct-dial telephone, high speed laptop connector and wake-up system.
An easy chair, coffee and tea making facilities, fridge and a great view are the extras in our 4 excellent 'First class rooms'.

With cancellations, please take into account that the date of arrival starts at 0:00 hours (CET.) (midnight).

During the Easter period, 9 to 16 April 2009, a minimum stay of 4 nights is required and Sunday 12 April has to be included in your reservation.

During the Old/New Year period from 29 December to 3 January, a minimum stay of 4 nights is required and 1 January has to be included in your reservation.

a great hotel that is very clean, across the road from central station. friendly staff always willing to help out. the rooms are a bit small but you don't spend much time in them. the recent upgrade is looking great and worth checking out this hotel.

The staff were helpful as they allowed us to leave our bags in the room before it was ready.

I thought the staff at reception were a little impersonal but I think this hotel is used by a lot of short stay people as it is directly opposite Central Station. The small garden area attached to the room was neglected and didn't warrant the higher price.

The best thing is for sure the location, right in from of the train station (3min walk). Bed room facing towards the "backyard".

Breakfast could include some vegetables and/or fruits. Consider climatizing the rooms, ours was really hot.

Excellent location, easy access from the airport and also everything within walkin' distance.

You might consider the air condition, First Class room in 3rd floor was very loud (street noises). Shower curtain would be a great help! I would' ve appreciated vegetables on breakfast.

Room extremely small and uncomfortable, bed totally worn out, room cleanliness seems to be an alien concept, shower separation wall very small allowing for flooding of the bathroom, no soap in shower, leaky sink pipe, odd smell, windows can not be properly secured. Other than that, it was great.

Well situated for trains, trams and canal boats. Nice quiet room. Good value for money. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast. Interesting train theme.
