The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing maps and directions
of the city and how to reach the rai conference centre. Breakfasts were
substantial and served from 7.30 A.M. until 10 A.M. so catering for both
guests with an early start and those who were on holiday. We even had
stollen on Easter Sunday! The hotel was only 10 minutes pleasant walk to
both the rai Centre and major museums.

I would have liked drink-making facilities in my room so I could make
hot drinks late at night. The staff made me teapots with hot water but I
would have preferred not to have bother them.

Good...

Nothing..maybe floor's original oak ...I did not like gren color because
maybe its clean but it looks dirty...

Very nice staff and service, simple breakfast provided. Unlimited wifi internet from Swisscom for 22euro/day, 88euro/week (a little expensive). Lots of plug outlets for my electronics, unlike other hotels that try to keep it to a minimum.

These are small points but found the single glazed windows a bit cold during these winter days. The tiled floor in the bathroom was freezing in the morning if going on bare feet! Pay-tv channels had quite explicit previews that last for up to 1 minute. Shower curtain on bath could be upgraded. Single bed was a bit small, but I think that is the normal size in Dutch hotels. Would be nicer if there was a minibar, kettle and/or room service.

The location is good. Near the centre and museum area. Connection by public transport is excellent. The hotel is located on the edge of the 1st zone. Generally it is good value for money if your requirements are not too high.

The hotel definitely does not stand up to 4 stars standard. Room acoustic isolation was extremely bad in our room. The room was small and if the window was not opened during the daytime, it smelled after cigarette smoke (curtains?). To find a free parking lot is also not easy, though possible (check streets around other hotels around). Too expensive WiFi access. Again, if your expectations are not too high, Delphi is a good choice.

We were running in the Amsterdam Marathon and the hotel was an ideal location for the event.

Close to City Center

A Calling Card was taken from my room that I had left next to the phone. It was not returned.
