The unique experience of staying on the water. The original location appeared to be beautiful. It was difficult to locate the correct ferry to get to the boat. We do however understand why the move of the botel due to construction. |

staying on a boat in Amsterdam is a great experience - it was very nice - didn't even mind the very easy ferry shuttle back and forth It would be nice if the hotel staff were more knowledgeable about the area and time schedules - the bar staffer was not nice to deal with at all |

A Very comfortable hotel, loved the breakfast too. A bit inconvenient with the location but impressed with the ferry crossings and the frequency of them. |

Comfortable rooms friendly reception staff and good local guides for use at reception. The barman sat watching the TV every evening and it seemed an effort for him to get up and serve us and then was he very unfriendly. Also the carpet in our room was threadbare, considering the botel is supposed to have been refurbished it looked no different to the last time we stayed 5 years ago. |

This was kind of a euro-funky place, but nice and quiet. The ferry was a bit of a pain when it only ran every 30 minutes or did not start running until 9:30 on weekends. But this barrier probably kept the crazies away -- which is good for us oldies. My children's room had a clogged drain and had a rotten odor. They fixed the drain but not the odor. Also -- some fresh fruit on the breakfast bar would have been great. Grapes, bananas etc. |

The accomodation is basic but good value. Although the location seemed rather remote, the free ferry to the main station was good and reliable - so this was not a problem. |

There is a short boat trip to get to the hotel which is possibly not for everyone but I quite enjoyed. When the ferry's finish for the night the hotel provides a shuttle bus which we could phone up for when we wanted it. perhaps its to be expected on a boat but the rooms really should be listed as cabins,they are clean but in desperate need of updating. The shower room is tiny, again possibly to be expected on a boat. There is noisy building work outside that started at 6.30am, our friends said you can't hear it on the seaward side of the boat. |

It has been moved to another location and is not the ideal location for a say in amsterdam now. I have stayed there a few times but will no longer do so because of the inconvenience of having to use a ferry to get to amsterdam. |
