As our quest of Grand Hotel Amstelveen, it is possible for you, to sport and relax at ’All Sports’, from Monday until Thursday. Please arrange your free ticket at the reception desk of the hotel. The hotel shuttle will take you to ‘All Sports’ and return you to the hotel, until 22:15. You can relax in the sauna, swimming pool or do some sporting activities in the cardio and fitness room. You can also use the solarium or squash courts for an extra payment.

Grand Hotel Amstelveen offers its guests a choice of two culinary adventures:
*Résidence Fontaine Royale, directly opposite our hotel you will find the luxurious à la carte restaurant "La Fontaine". A memorable experience for the guest in search of an exquisite dinner and superb wines; 65 seats.

* Restaurant 'T GeregT, right next to Grand Hotel Amstelveen is the restaurant 'T GeregT an informal and extremely friendly restaurant. The menu boasts a wide selection of refined dishes and excellent wines; 72 seats.

Room information

Grand Hotel Amstelveen has 97, very spacious, stylishly furnished rooms (32 m2) and 2 suites (65 m²) equipped with every imaginable comfort.
All rooms and suites have a luxury fitted bathroom with a separate bathtub and separate shower and toilet.

Area information

There are a number of sights worth visiting in Amstelveen and its surroundings, such as the Cobra Museum, the Aalsmeer international flower auction, the Ratterman clog makers, Clara Maria cheese farm and the Keukenhof. The centre of Amsterdam is less than 20 minutes away by taxi or public transport. In the nearby surroundings from the hotel you can find Amsterdam Arena (Ajax), Theatre Amstelveen and P60 (podium for pop, culture and media).

Sport & Partycentre "De Kegel" next to the hotel, is the place to go for (competition)bowling, (in the weekends future bowling), badminton and tennis with 10 indoor and 12 outdoor courses in a large tennis centre.

Excellent breakfast, location right beside bus stops -170 to city centre and 199 (red bus) to Schipol airport.5 euros return trip and lasts all day.Staff very friendly and helpful

No cycle hire either at hotel or nearby disappointing because there are many nice cycle paths in the vicinity and walking you cant see as much.Bowling, tennis and badminton are next door but are charged for.

The breakfast was very nice, as was the nearby restaurant.

We had heard that there was shuttle service available. We tried to contact the hotel via email to request this service and could never get a reply. The potential or shuttle service was one of the major reasons we chose the hotel. Room had a terrible smell.

The hotel is an excellent base for both Amsterdam city centre and Amstelveen area. It is on a good bus route and only a few minuits walk to the nearest metro station.
The hotel has an excellent restaurant attached and the breakfast in the hotel was excellent.
We travelled with 2 teenagers and were given inter-connecting rooms.

-kostenloser Parkplatz am Hotel, was in Amsterdam eher die Ausnahme zu sein scheint, gute Verkehrsanbindung, sehr nettes Personal und gute Betten nach einem anstrengendem Tag; ich kann das Hotel empfehlen.
