The Regardz Berghotel Amersfoort is situated on top of the Amersfoortse Berg, one of the foothills of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Centrally located, in the middle of the country.

Food & beverage

In the cosy restaurant you can enjoy a light lunch or a culinary dinner. An appetizer can be used in the bar. During the summer, you are more than welcome on our renovated terrace.

Room information

Two third of the rooms are renovated in 2007. The comfortable and deluxe rooms all got a new look & feel, inspired by the latest trends.

The combination of modern colours and special materials make it a pleasure to stay in this room. Ask for these rooms, to experience it yourself. These rooms are non-smoking.

Area information

Amersfoort is located in the green heart of the Netherlands, near the “Utrechtse Heuvelrug”. A nice place to discover during a biking tour. The hotel is located nearby the city centre of Amersfoort, where you can find all different kinds of very nice shops, museums and cosy squares with restaurants, terraces and (grand) cafés. Even a mini cruise through the canals or renting a private boat, are possibilities in Amersfoort. The Zoo, Monkey Town, Sauna Soesterberg and Palace Soestdijk are all located near by the hotel.

Its location and parking

It was under refurbishment when we stayed there, the room was nothing
like the picture on the website. I woudl have expected coffee/tea making
facilities in the room

Designs, cutlary and food. But not the service.

1 - There was no choice for breakfast. Either have buffet bf and pay
18.75 Euros pp or have nothing! No coffee or tea facility in rooms! 2-
No access to internet for duration of my stay!. 3 - The service was very
slow and poor. 4- The water basin in the bathroom did not allow plugging
and using it as a basin.

the atmosphere, the staff

the rooms are small, the breakfast did not include vegetables and are a little bit simple - i travel in others Golden Tulip hotels and this one is a little bit lower from this point of view

Breakfast was realy good!

During my stay in hotel properly did not work heating system. (only one small part of radiator was warm, another biggest part of radiator was unheated) during days what I have spend in Hotel, outside temperature during the night was -2, so it was uncofortable fresh to sleep. I have informed in front desc - no cnenges on the next night.

Close to the centre of Amersfoort. Good restaurant.

The new 'modern' style interior of the rooms has no carpet on the floor, but just paint on concrete. That's fine if the paint looks good. It doesn't.
Almost no power sockets for laptop. When switching off the lights for the night all power sockets are switched off, even the one for the alarm clock.
