The location of the hotel is excellent. Comfortable and quiet rooms. Breakfeast buffet was good. In the hotel there is no dining restaurant. |

Good value, nice location across a (busy) street from a pretty canal, and a short walk into town. Easy to get to the hotel by car, circumventing the city center but still close. Hotel parking was full, so I had to park in a public lot, 10-15 minute walk away. No restaurant (though breakfast is served in the lobby). |

It was a close distance from the station and to the town, a perfect location, although it was on a main road, but this was not a problem as i was at the back of the hotel |

The hotel was very smart, clean and tidy and easy to navigate, the reception staff were of the highest standard, their ability to communicate to all and to deal with any situation was first class. The hotels situation for alkmaar is perfect, you do not feel like you are in a city, however cross the river pass the trees and within a 2 minute walk you are at the cathederal, with the train station being less than a ten minute stroll away, all in all were i returning to alkmaar for a stay then i would be returning to the best western amrath. |
