Between Nijmegen and Venlo awaits you the rural peace and quiet of “the Papenberg”. Original, a farmhouse, situated in beautiful grounds with a great variety of trees, shrubs and flowers, where one feels straightaway at home with that little bit of extra luxury. The Restaurant is artfully furnished with antique furniture. The menu varies several times a week, pending on the quality of seasonal products and the inspiration of our Chef.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

This hotel has 21 stylish luxury furnished rooms in the well known "Papenberg atmosphere". All the rooms have own bathroom with bath, toilet, hairdryer, trouser Press, telephone, t.v, radio, coffee maker and minibar.

Area information

You will find the "Papenberg" in the National Park the Maasduinen. You can enjoy walking or cycling on the Afferdse heide and the Bergerbos but also in the nature area's the Ravenvennen, de Hamert, de Bergerheide and the Reichswald.

The German places Kleve and Goch and the pilgrimage place Kevelaer are situated just over de border. You have to visit these places because they are really worth it. In 45 minutes, you will be in Dusseldorf with the famous shopping street.

This hotel is great value, staff were extremely helpful and the room was lovely,spacious and very clean. Set in lovely surroundings too.I would definitely stay there again.

Very good restaurant. This also includes the breakfast.

I found the room not heated. They also turned off the heating that I left on when leaving the room on the first day of permanence.

The flexiblity and helpfulness of the owners/staff and the attention to detail with meals/table decorations etc. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

We waren blij verrast bij aankomst. De service en vriendelijkheid van
het personeel deed je geloven dat het een familiehotel was (is het
waarschijnlijk ook) dat met passie gerund wordt. Ontbijtje met verse jus
d’orange en eitje was ook heerlijk. Prima hotel en zeker een aanrader!
