Situated on the market of the pleasant little town of Aalter, the hotel offers an ideal positions for excursions to the historic cities of Ghent and Bruges.

Located within 30 minutes of the North Sea Coast, the hotel is also very close to the highway E40 Brussels-Ostend and the railway station, supplying excellent transport links around the city and to the surrounding areas. For the more active visitor, the hotel is also on the Flanders bike tour.

In the evenings you can return to the relaxed and comfortable hotel to enjoy a freshly prepared meal in the hotel’s restaurant, Orchidee, before having a nightcap in the bar.

This hotel was built in 1976 and extended in 1986. Located on the Pitoresk market place, the structure offers 17 rooms, including some Triple Rooms.

The breakfast room and reception are at Memling's sister hotel, Orchidee, situated 150 metres from the hotel.

Of course, there is time for relaxation, having a chat over a snack and drink. Our bar offers a wide range of drinks, including many regional beers and various snacks. In the restaurant you can enjoy of good French/Belgium kitchen with a suitable wine.

In the immediate surroundings of Aalter, you have the possibility of taking beautiful walks an cycle trips pas meadows, arable land and canals. In this environment, you will also find many interesting historical features. The historical cities of Bruges and Ghent are within 15 min. drive or even by bike along the canal you cycle only 25 km. A visit at the sea takes only 30 min.

Helpful staff, eventually an ok stay, food facilities at main hotel Orchidee v good.

Directions from front door to book in poor. No on site parking, no telephone, no internet as advised in ad.

The bathroom of my collegue not had a very good cleaning.

Reasonable price for the quality.

Room was not heated (radiator was cold and it didn0't work even when I opened the valve). Fortunately radiator in bathroom worked.

Hôtel tranquille. Chambre grande et spacieuse avec coin cuisine (non mentionné), donc très pratique

Il faut faire le check-in à l'Hôtel Orchidée et ce dernier n'est pas facile à trouver.
