The spacious ATAMA Fitness Center is one of the most modern in Europe, includes a large in-door pool opening to a tanning-lawn and massage rooms.

The extensive arcade features a styling salon with facial and body care, massage therapies, manicure and pedicure and other boutiques. MAESTRO operates an exquisite jewelry boutique featuring diamonds from the IDC, Chopard designs and other world-class brands.

The hotel features 3 large banqueting halls, fully-equipped to meet international expectations: Sofia one, 2 and 3 (776 m²) combine to accommodate up to 650 guests. Kyoto and Vitosha Salons each cater for up to 100 guests. The newly renovated boardrooms feature comfortable chairs and tables in the height and shape that offer: easy connectivity to power and the web for each individual delegate; easy access to built-in multi-media presenters; interactive screens; microphones; flip charts; white boards; and peg boards. They can accommodate up to 20 people, depending upon the style of meeting.

Junior Suites consist of 1 bedroom and 1 living room, a total area of 56 m2.

All other rooms cover 28 m2 each and differentiate in floor level, city or mountain view and the standard of fitting out.

Breakfast was very nice. The gym has a very good equipment

Standard rooms are old fashioned concerning simple technology like a
card key, an alarm clock, a clock. Complaints about faulty taps in the
bath were taken care of only two days after the were made and three
phone calls. No information about Sofia in the room.

We reserved a non smoking room and it smelled strongly of old sgarettes, the bathrom smelled like a sewer and made the impression of the whole room being dirty. upon our arrival the receptionist could not find our reservation and was not polite. I stayed in the Kempinski in Golden sands last year and was very impressed and satisfied, that was why I reserved this hotel in Sofia. A big mistake!!!.

Staff were very polite and helpful (including the maintenance staff not normally noted but assisted me greatly with a vehicle problem). Choice of resteraunts and refreshment venues within the hotel excellent.

The breakfast was wonderfull

These type of hotels ( 5 stars categories) should have had some extra facilities eg. iron, tooth brush & tooth paste as well as safe box in the rooms. Furniture were old and not so good.

It is a big hotel and I would have liked a map of the hotel in my room.
Apart from that it was superb.

As an 'English' only speaker a floor plan would have been useful as when
I asked where facilities were I was not understood. Also, I bought a
magazine for 10 levs and discovered it was not new! Far too much for a
second-hand magazine.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The facilities were great.

Rooms are still being upgraded even though work commenced january 2007. Room was comfortable but decor/furnishings outdated

The hotel is large andbadly signposted internally. There are no directories of services in the rooms so it could be possible to stay and never know about certain of the restaurants and other facilities. There are also no instructions in room re use of radio etc. The use of the safe in the lobby is a nuisance there should be safes in every room
