Scandic Ostersund is situated just south of the town centre, only 9 km from the airport , right next to the Odensala camp site, Storsjobadet Water Park and Folkets Hus Congress Centre.

The newly renovated Plaza Restaurant offers an à la carte menu. Enjoy a show or live music with your food, served in an exclusive nightclub environment. The bistro is the perfect spot for relaxing with a drink and good food and serves modern food and a wide range of hot and cold drinks. Sip cocktails and enjoy music from DJ's and live bands. Still good location! Breakfest OK.

The hotel has changed the name (and network) into SCANDIC and definetely not deserve for 4****, room renovation is a must!

I liked that they had a restaurant in same building, entrance from the lobby. Even that we missed the hotels dinner, we could easily get a good evening supper without having to first look for a downtown restaurant. I also apprecaited the free parking just outside the hotel. Rooms were nice and bathrooms excellent.

well...it´s nothing really
We asked for a quite room in email-contact, we got a room toward the street, which was noisy in the morning. I´m sure, however, if we asked to change rooms when we arrived it wouldn´t have been any problem...we were just to tired to bother with it when we came.

Frokosten var veldig bra

På nettsidene stod det at det var gratis tilgang på internett. Når jeg prøvde å gå inn fikk jeg beskjed om at det kostet 100 kroner pr. døgn. Dette var ikke bra, og jeg benyttet derfor ikke denne tjenesten.

Bra läge på hotellet, god frukost

Det fanns ingen aircondition på rummet, och eftersom solen låg på hela dagen så blev det väldigt varmt.

Sängen otroligt skön. Tempuramadrass, tror jag. Frukosten utmärkt. Bra med en extra bänk att ställa resväskan på. Ganska nära till centrum.

Att Bibeln var undanstoppad i en låda. Fruktansvärt varmt. En bordsfläkt hade inte varit dumt.

Generelt ok, pæn restaurant, god morgenmad, høflig og hjælpsomt personale. Fremragende beliggenhed.

Bedre rengøring af gulve på værelser. Minibar på værelser. Hårtører på værelser. Bedre stryge-facilliteter.
